
On the eve of World Health Day 2021, India witnessed the coming together of an Alliance for Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC). Based on principles of equity, quality, and affordability, CPHC is an approach to health and wellbeing that is centred on the needs and preferences of individuals, families and communities.
Spearheaded by the SWASTI, the Alliance functions through a framework of collective consciousness and collaboration across sectors. The synergistic expertise of this Alliance will ultimately help India better address emerging health challenges like the pandemic while providing high-quality health and wellness care.

Swasti, the backbone organisation of the CPHC Alliance, has created a central database of innovations, solutions and CPHC models. The database exists as a living document meant to evolve with India's primary health care landscape and inspire readers to utilise and implement these learnings along with their own.
